The AGM was held on Sunday in the New Sports Hall with a large crowd in attendance. The outgoing officers reported on a very successful year on and off the field and a detailed report was given by the treasurer on the current financial goings on within the club.
The new committee for 2010 are President Canon Breen, Vice Presidents Seamus McQuaid, Tommy Hunter, Michael Montague, Liam O'Neill, John McCusker and Fr. McEntee, Chairman Kevin Sludden, Vice Chairman Barry Campbell, Secretary Joe Rafferty, Asst. Secretary Donal Slevin, Treasurer Jimmy Quinn, Vise Treasurer Joanne Colton, Youth Officer Gerard Hannigan, Coaching Officer Barry Campbell, Registrar Hugh Quinn, County Board Officer Paul McCaffrey. The first meeting of the full new committee will take place on Monday 11th at 9 p.m. in St. Patricks Hall.
Preparations are continuing for the upcoming gala dinner dance entitled "Brod Na hAite" (Pride of Place) which is taking place in the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran on February 26th. This gala is in celebration of our senior team who have won 7 senior titles in 7 years and promises to be a great occasion. Tickets are £50 each or £500 per table and further details can be received from any committee member. Free transport will be arranged for what promises to be an occasion not to be missed.
The lotto number this week were 5, 14, 22, 24, 25 and 27, there were 13 lucky people with 4 numbers correct, next weeks jackpot is £20,800. Anyone interested in helping to coach underage teams this year are asked to contact Gerard Hannigan on 07840 037085.
