Our U16’s travelled to Clonoe last Saturday and done well to come away with a draw, 1-16 to 3-10 after a good performance, they are back in action this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. when they host Coalisland in Páirc Ghearrdhroma. Well done to all involved in running the Charles Henry Quinn Tournament last Saturday, it was a great morning’s football. We are delighted to say our youth club ‘Club Óige’ is starting in St. John's School on Monday 21st September from 6-7pm. In addition our Irish Language classes are re-commencing, Bun Rang and Meán Rang are starting in St. John's School on Monday 21st September from 7pm, everyone welcome from absolute beginners to experienced Gaeilgeoiri. The Ciorcal Comhrá continues every Sunday morning in The Village Table from 11am-12 noon. The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (9th) were 2, 4, 7, 10, 14 and 16 there were 15 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Patricia McLoughlin (Morgan Park) went close to the jackpot with 5 correct numbers winning £250.
