Pride of place this week goes to club players Niall Sludden and Peter Teague and their Tyrone teammates on winning the All Ireland last Saturday, very well deserved award for two great role models, comhghairdeas libh.

League action returns this Sunday with both reserves and seniors in action against Ardboe in Pairc Ghearrdhroma at 2:15 and 3:45.

Our U17’s lost out to a strong Ardboe team in the championship last Thursday.

Coaching continues for the U7.5, U9.5 and U11.5’s on Saturday morning at 10:00.

Good luck to the senior ladies who are due to play Drumragh in the league in Pairc Ghearrdhroma on Saturday evening at 6:30.

Also, the ladies have their annual Spinathon fundraiser in the town this Saturday, please come along and donate as funds are much needed for this great fledgling club who do so much for the youth of our parish.

For all our budding Gaeligori and everyone else interested there is an interesting talk on the origin and meanings of local surnames taking place on Friday 17th September in the Sports Centre at 8:00 p.m., the talk is open to everyone and it is hoped it will also be shown live on the Dromore GFC facebook. Also there is a new range of online classes starting next week for all levels so whether you are just starting or are looking to move towards being a fluent Gaeligori contact Conal (07815 784962) to get signed up for the upcoming program.

The lotto winning numbers for last week (8th) were 6, 11, 12, 14, 16 and 30, there were 15 winners with 4 correct numbers each. Next week’s jackpot in Ireland's biggest club lotto is £25,000, remember you can do the lotto via tickets in all local shops or online at www.dromoregfc.com.
