Commiserations to our U15 boys who lost out by the minimum margin 2-08 to 1-10 in the league semi final to Moy after another wonderful performance, this brings an end to the season for a team who more than outperformed any expectations of them, well done also to their management team of Niall, Mark, Gary, Joe, Kieran, Nathan and Gerry.

Our ladies club are a having a fun day and a range of games for all age groups in Pairc Gheardhroma all morning and afternoon this Saturday followed by a big BBQ and entertainment night in the Central Bar to celebrate their 30 year anniversary, everyone is welcome to come along and join in the celebrations

Tickets are now out for our 5 week Xmas draw, tickets are priced at £10 each and there are £3,000 in prizes, tickets are available from any committee member or in Montague's Shop and Newscast.

Old Time Dance led by Marie Garrity continues in St. Patrick’s Hall on Tuesday evenings from 8:00 – 9:30 p.m., these classes are proving highly enjoyable for all who are attending, it is not too late for any newcomers to join in and enjoy the dancing, tea and craic.

Irish language classes for beginners and improvers will resume on Monday 7th November from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m., the classes take place in St. John’s School and cost just £3 per night, newcomers are most welcome. The Irish language conversation group continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (26th) were 6, 9, 10, 27, 28 and 29, there were 12 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Eileen Clarke went one better winning £250 with 5 correct numbers.
