Our Gaelic Start program got off to a great start last week, it is not too late to bring your child along, Gaelic Start takes place on Friday evenings from 6:15 to 7:00 in the Sports Centre and is for boys and girls who are in Pre School, P1 and P2.

Tickets are now out for our 5 week Xmas draw, tickets are priced at £10 each and there are £3,000 in prizes, tickets are available from any committee member or in Montague's Shop and Newscast.

Old Time Dance led by Marie Garrity continues in St. Patrick’s Hall on Tuesday evenings from 8:00 – 9:30 p.m., these classes are proving highly enjoyable for all who are attending, it is not too late for any newcomers to join in and enjoy the dancing, tea and craic.

An Irish language taster session for anyone interested in learning Irish will be held in the Credit Union on Friday 18th November 8pm - 9pm. A one-day Irish language course for all abilities will take place on Saturday 19th November in St. John's School from 10am - 2pm. Irish language classes for beginners and improvers are taking place on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m., the classes take place in St. John’s School and cost just £3 per night, newcomers are most welcome. The Irish language conversation group continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (9th) were 1, 7, 13, 25, 26 and 28, there were 9 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Damian Montague, Susan McManus and Ryan McCusker all went one better winning £85 each with 5 correct numbers.
