Our Reserves lost their first league game 2-12 to 1-08 at home to Carrickmore last Friday night, this Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. they are away to Moortown.

Our U20’s had a good 4-16 to 0-08 victory away to Trillick last Sunday, this Sunday they are due to play at home to Galbally at 3:30 p.m.

The U16 team defeated Galbally 2-12 to 2-09 last Thursday.

All club supporters will have a chance to sign up for our Big Solo event on Saturday from 10:00 – 1:00 and Sunday from 9:00 to 12:00 at the Village Table, the event itself takes place on 24th June, this is a special event to celebrate out 90th year, everyone of all ages will be able to take part and it will all be done in your own townland, a great day is in store so we look forward to you all taking part.

All members are reminded that membership forms are available in Montague’s Shop, the fee for mens club are just £10 for children and £50 for adults, anyone who wants to join our Cairde Droim Mór scheme can contact Gerard (07840 037085), Aidy (07597 071205) or Joe (07821 719969) for more details.

Well done to two of our club stalwarts Barry Campbell and Martin McCann who were honoured in Garvaghy last week at an event for ex Tyrone players in recognition of Ulster and All Ireland success from 1969 to 1973.

The Ciorcal Comhrá Irish language conversation continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table. Our Ranganna Gaelige (Irish language classes) have some date changes for the next few weeks, the classes will take place on An Luain 15th, An Luain 22nd agus An Mháirt 30th in St John’s School from 7-8:00 p.m.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (3rd) were 5, 12, 16, 17, 27 and 30, there were 23 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Eamon Lynch went one better scooping £250 with 5 correct numbers. Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent monthly meeting to the McDonnell, McShane (Crossmaglen), Fr. Mullan (Drumquin), Cunningham, Molloy and Gallagher families on their recent bereavements.
