Our seniors began their Jim Devlin Cup with a 1-13 to 1-12 defeat away to Naomh Eoghan last Sunday.
Both our U18 teams are back in action this Sunday with the first team hosting Loughmacrory in Pairc Gheardhromma at 10:30 a.m. while the development team travel to play Beragh at 4:00 p.m.
Our U14’s travel to play Moortown this Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
Coaching continues this Saturday morning for all our U6.5, U8.5 and U10.5 teams at 10:00 a.m.
All supporters are reminded that membership is now due for all players and supporters, if you haven’t received a letter there will be membership forms available in Montague’s Shop.
Club Óige ag tosú arís an tseachtain seo chugainn. Irish language Youth Club for Primary School children is running every Monday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in St. John’s School. This is a great opportunity for children to learn Irish through fun and games. Irish language classes continue for Beginners and Improvers on Monday evening also from 7:00 p.m. in St. John’s School. The Ciorcal Comhrá continues every Sunday morning in The Village Table from 11am-12 noon.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (11th) were 8, 10, 11, 13, 16 and 25 there were 18 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Melissa McManus went one better winning £250 with 5 correct numbers. Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent committee meeting to the McNabb (Joe), Monaghan (Patricia), McGarry (Kevin – Maguiresbridge), McCaffrey (Rosie – Irvinestown), Devlin (Brian – Scotland). McAleer (Rosemary – Omagh), Colton (Rosary), McIntyre (Imelda – Enniskillen) and McAloon (Frances – Irvinestown) families on their recent bereavements.
