The season starts this weekend for our reserves when they play away to Errigal Ciaran on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Our U18’s had another good week with both teams winning, the first team defeated Dungannon 2-15 to 0-08 on Tuesday while the development team travelled to Donaghmore and came away with a 4-10 to 1-11 win. The U18’s host Carrickmore on Thursday (16th) in Páirc Ghearrdhroma at 6:45 p.m. and then on Sunday they travel to play Ardboe at 2:00 p.m.
Our U14’s lost out away to Killeshil 5-11 to 1-11 last Saturday. On Wednesday (15th) the U14’s host Coalisland in Páirc Ghearrdhroma at 6:45 p.m.
Coaching continues on Saturday mornings for all our U6.5, U8.5 and U10.5 teams at 10:00 a.m. We are running another batch of Gaelic Start for Pre-School and P1 boys and girls on Sunday mornings over the next few weeks at the Dromore Sports Complex from 10:50 a.m. to 11:35 a.m. All supporters are reminded that membership is now due for all players and supporters, if you haven’t received a letter to complete membership online there will be membership forms available in Montague’s Shop.
Beidh an Club Óige ar ais i Mí Meán Fómhair. Míle buíochas le Catherine as a cuidiú sa Chlub Óige i mbliana. The Irish language Youth Club has finished up for now and will be back in September. Thanks to Catherine for her help in the Youth Club this year.
Irish language classes continue for Beginners and Improvers on Monday evening also from 7:00 p.m. in St. John’s School. The Ciorcal Comhrá continues every Sunday morning in The Village Table from 11am-12 noon.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (8th) were 6, 16, 17, 21, 23 and 26 there were 18 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Paul McBrearty went close to scooping the jackpot with winning £250 with 5 correct numbers.
