Our seniors were defeated 2-16 to 2-13 away to Errigal Ciaran last Friday, this weekend they have double fixtures when they play in Páirc Ghearrdhroma on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. against Edendork then on Sunday they host Coalisland at 3:30 p.m. The reserves got their championship campaign underway in fine style last Sunday travelling to Carrickmore and defeating the home side 0-15 to 1-07. Our U18’s finished their season when they were defeated 0-17 to 0-10 by Carrickmore in the championship quarter final, the team showed great progress in their development stepping up from grade 2 at U16 two years ago and competing well with the top teams in grade 1 at minor level this year, well done to all the lads and their management team for the great effort put in. Our U16’s were defeated 0-13 to 1-08 at home to Na Doire Oga on Saturday, this Saturday they travel to play Moy at 4:00 p.m. then on Wednesday (19th) they host Drumragh at 7:15 p.m. The Ciorcal Comhrá continues every Sunday morning in The Village Table from 11am-12 noon. The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (5th) were 9, 12, 17, 18, 28 and 29 there were 12 winners with 4 correct numbers each. Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent club meeting to the Teague (Madelaine), McCarthy (Doreen – Wexford), McCann (Rose – Fintona), Maguire (Tilly – Toronto), McCaffrey (Louise), McGoldrick (Kathleen), McMahon (Lawrence), Maguire (Ann – Irvinestown), Carron (Ciara), Donnelly (Sean – Trillick) and Gallagher (Eugene) families on their recent bereavements.
