The U18's got their season off to a winning start away to Killyclogher on Sunday with a 0-13 to 1-06 victory.

The U14's however lost out to Drumragh in their first game 3-11 to 2-04 despite an encouraging first half performance. The U14 team are away to Pomeroy this Saturday morning with the bus leaving McDermott's car park at 9:30.

Congratulations to everyone involved in last Saturday nights 'Battle Of The Blues', an absolutely brilliant night was had by the many hundreds that attended, particular thanks go to the boxers, all the sponsors, Liam Morris the MC, Plunkett McCallan the referee, Paddy Poyntz for all the visual displays, the bar staff, the trainers and ring men and of course to all those that attended in such great numbers. If you did not make it on the night or if you want to relive it all again, DVD's of this memorable night will be available from Montagues Shop at £10 each from this weekend.

The standing order forms are now out for our new membership scheme for 2015, there will be spare forms available in Montague's shop if you have not received one in the post, we ask that all club supporters can get behind this new scheme, youth membership remains at £10 each.

Lotto winning numbers for last week were 7, 9, 12, 16, 19 and 24, there were 18 winners with 4 correct numbers each. N ext weeks jackpot is £17,000 and Mrs. Corrigan from Irvinestown went close to scooping the massive jackpot with 5 correct numbers. The £50 monthly draw was won by Silverius McCann and lotto sellers for this weekend are Niall McNulty (Church St.), Matt McNulty (Corner), Liam O'Neill (O'Connors) and Seamus Goodwin (Central).

Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent club meeting for the Corrigan (I'town), McCoole, Teague and Mahon (I'town) on their recent bereavements.
