Our seniors had a 1-12 to 1-10 victory away to Galbally last Friday evening while the reserves also won on a 4-07 to 1-07 scoreline. There are no games for both teams this weekend.

The U16 team were very unlucky to lose out in their league quarter final away to Cookstown on Sunday, a magnificent comeback seen them finish level at full time before losing out 7-21 to 8-11, it was a magnificent effort by the lads.

Well done to the U12 boys who performed very well to get to the final of the Harte Memorial tournament in Loughmacrory last Saturday.

The excitement is building in the parish for the clubs ‘Dromore Big Solo’ event on Saturday 24th June, keep an eye of social media for all the details.

All members are reminded that membership forms are available in Montague’s Shop, the fee for mens club are just £10 for children and £50 for adults, anyone who wants to join our Cairde Droim Mór scheme can contact Gerard (07840 037085), Aidy (07597 071205) or Joe (07821 719969) for more details.

The Ciorcal Comhrá Irish language conversation continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table. Our next Ranganna Gaelige (Irish language classes) will take place on Monday in St John’s School from 7-8:00 p.m.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (31st) were 3, 6, 15, 21, 22 and 28, there were 12 winners with 21 correct numbers each.
