Hard luck to our senior team who were defeated 2-09 to 0-11 by Carrickmore in their league semi final. This brings their season to an end and we would like to thank their management team of Colm, Niall and Seamus for their work.

On a brighter note our reserve team were presented on Sunday with their Division 1 League Title, well done to all involved particularly managers Hugh and Niall.

However this does not spell the end of the GAA action in Dromore as the wonderful Paul Mcgirr Ulster U16 tournament is in full swing with the second semi-final due to take place this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and what a game it promises to be between current holder St. Enda's Glengormley and this years tournament favourites Crossmaglen Rangers, with a large crowd being expected we would ask for as much help as possible for stewarding for this game.

The club are running a series of indoor fun games for U14's and U16's every Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 in the Sports Hall over the winter, all players are asked to come along and enjoy the craic.

The Tyrone County Board are running a number of coaching courses over the winter, any current coaches or anyone who would like to get involved with coaching can contact club secretary Joe Rafferty for details on 07821 719969.

Last weeks lotto numbers were 1, 4, 7, 8, 24 and 30, there were 14 winners with 4 correct numbers each, next weeks jackpot will be £13,850.

With the first draw in our 5 week Christmas draw taking place this week it is the last chance to get tickets, tickets are prices at £10 each with £3,000 in prizes and are also available at all retail outlets in the town.
